QPR Training at the Eagle Public Library

  • Eagle Public Library 600 Broadway St Eagle, CO, 81631 United States (map)

Please join us for a FREE QPR training. Offered quarterly, each session is open to the public and a maximum of 30 people.

Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR), is an award-winning, evidenced-based, early-intervention approach to suicide prevention. This educational program is designed to teach attendees the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond.

In this training, you will learn how to recognize and respond positively to suicide warning signs and behaviors, and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. By having the proper tools to help someone in crisis and knowing the resources, you could save a life. This training will be held in-person.

QPR is for adults, parents, co-workers, friends, neighbors and anyone age 16 and up.

Suicide prevention is for everyone. We can all learn to save lives through this training. Data proves that QPR works and can make a difference in someone's life.

We require a minimum of 10 registrants to hold this training. SpeakUp ReachOut reserves the right to cancel the training a week in advance.
