Remembering our loved ones through traditions.

Day of the Dead, “Día de los Muertos”, is not a version of Halloween but a tradition from Latin America and, more specifically, from the cultures of Mesoamerica. On the Day of the Dead, families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink, and celebration with an altar or an offering. Celebrated across Latin America, this holiday has helped those who have experienced the loss of loved ones to heal and to be able to process the mourning (or grief) that may still be lingering. The rituals and ceremonies on the Day of the Dead allow people to create a space to say goodbye where they can once again feel the love and presence of that person. While Día de los Muertos is celebrated in many ways, we want you to join us this November 4th to remember the loved ones we lost.
