B*Tch & Stitch

A ‘busy project’ to keep your mind calm

About

The maintenance of our mental health requires us to have a safe place to be able to off load our day to day struggles. In my healing journey I’ve realized that  sometimes I need a “busy project” to keep my mind calm. The B*tch & Stitch is a group where these two things combine. Each month our group will be working on a different project for various charities. No stitching experience? No problem, I will be there to assist people in learning each craft. This group is open to all adults.

About Steph:

Hi! My name is Steph McGuire. I’ve been in the valley for ten years now, originally from southern Wisconsin. I love being in the mountains, and love being able to spend my days outside. I am an avid mountain biker, hiker, and skier! I am a co-owner of a small quilting company White Farm Creations, where I make custom quilts for people and I am also a longarm quilter. My own obstacles with health, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and problems with alcohol have led me to become a peer lead. I am now 3.5 years sober! I can’t wait to see where this peer led journey takes me!
